Working with Sean Wagner and Grey Bialon at NewStudio Architecture, we designed, prototyped, and eventually mass-produced The Modern Pike. The welded stainless steel poker draws inspiration from a traditional fireman's pike and the Bouffadous - a French fire tool used to blow air into a fire to get it lit and stay hot. The walnut handles, inspired by antique tennis racket handles, rely on simple lines to make an ergonomic grip. All of these held up by a minimalistic walnut stand. Available for purchase here.
